2. Make drinking apple cider vinegar a morning habit
This will help you reduce inflammation in dissolve developing mucus! Just put mix a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar with a teaspoon of honey and a cup of water. Chug it down first thing in the morning and 30 minutes before having your breakfast. As a bonus, it will also speed up your metabolism!
3. Do indoor workouts
While you can always do yoga in the comforts of your own home, doing something intense is still possible during haze season. At Impulse Studio, you can workout for 20 minutes indoors and still burn more calories compared to how much you were burning during your regular outdoor workouts!
4. Hydrate yourself
Drink lots of water. Your usual 8 glasses a day just won’t cut it so do try to drink more than that. The haze can also affect you skin pretty bad so score some facial mists from your local drugstore.
5. Get an air purifier
Sometimes, being indoors is not enough. Keep your doors and windows closed, especially if you’re living in a condo unit situated on a high floor. Sometimes, particles can still seep through your window sills and the gaps between your doors so it’s best to stay safe and invest on an air purifier.
6. Load up on Vitamin C
This will boost your immune system and help you power through the haze.
7. Wear an N 95 mask
If you must go out, do get an N95 mask. The flimsy masks just won’t do. They won’t be able to filter out all the harmful particles.
